La Hacienda means “the ranch” in Spanish, and you’ll feel right at home on the Mexican range with their economical prices and delicious traditional food.
Located at the Cimmaron shopping center on the corner of Aloma and State Road 436, the restaurant is perfect for family gatherings, a special date, a night with friends, or just a lunch break with a margarita.
In 2020, la hacienda expanded from being a market to a full scale restaurant.
Formerly just a supermarket serving fresh food from the counter within, La Hacienda’s bright and shiny expansion adds a full-service restaurant next door with a liquor bar. La Hacienda now has a seating capacity of 150 customers.
Manager Ana Garcia told the public at the time that heavy customer demand and limited kitchen space made the expansion desirable.
“We’ve been working for it for eight months, and finally we were able to open at the end of January,” said Garcia.
The restaurant is known for their authentic Mexican cuisine, especially their specialty tacos and burritos. Served open-faced with a fresh squeeze of lime, their tacos and flautas (fried tacos) are piled high with goodies like sizzling steak and chicken.
La Hacienda is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. all week.
